Dr. Patrick J. Dougherty, DPM, DABPS, FACFAS

Dr. Patrick J. Dougherty earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University before completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in general and reconstructive foot surgery at Parkview and City Avenue hospitals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, part of the Tenet Health System.

Dr. Dougherty is board-certified in foot surgery and is a diplomat of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS). His practice interests include foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, and comprehensive routine foot care. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society, and he serves patients at Duke Raleigh, Rex, and Maria Parham hospitals.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Dougherty is a passionate college football fan and an avid runner who enjoys half marathons. He and his wife share a love of Disney with their children and also enjoy movies, music, and a wide range of sports.
